Re: Charlie Austin in West Ham colours next season ?
I wanted him the summer before last prior to his move to then-Championship side QPR but got slagged-off on here, if I remember rightly...

Would be a great 4th choice. But would he be happy?

That's all that matters now. Apparently.

Re: Charlie Austin in West Ham colours next season ?
He would sign but we can't afford the fee as QPR if relegated will want a big fee and we won't be making any big signings this year with the down payment to be made for the OS, rumoured to be amount £14m.

LOL

Maybe they could also give us Zarate back. He's no where near as good as Cole, who's the best 4th choice striker in the division, happy to sit on the bench and not say a word week in, week out.

What exactly is the question here?

Are QPR still facing apocalyptic financial sanctions from the FL if they go down? If so, they'll be giving these players away although looking at his goalscoring record it could be a little high for Allardyce's liking.

Eyes - In theory, yes, but in reality, no.

I read that the rules (of which they allegedly broke) have since changed, which will most likely be their get out of jail card.

I did mention we should have bought him when he was playing for Swindon Town

Marlon Harewood scored 14 goals in his first PL season.

I'm not convinced the guy is the real deal.

Must admit watching him play for QPR in the Championship I thought he was a FAT IMMOBILE LUMP.

Maybe we should look at Jon PARKIN
Might need a wide angled lens to do so.

Re: Charlie Austin in West Ham colours next season ?
I think he is a cracking player and could be as good if not better than Kane. BUT with Allardyce here he will go the way of all those promising strikers we had before him.

Re: Charlie Austin in West Ham colours next season ?
I like Austin. No nonsense player. Gets the job done, goes on where it hurts and has that touch of class. But people shouldn't get over excited just because he is young and English.

QPR will want something silly for him and probably get it so he won't be coming to West Ham.

Ex workmate saw him Tuesday night in the Monpellier district of Cheltenham having a good time. He was with Jermaine Jenas and Titus Bramble.

Would sign him despite having those 2 wankers as mates :-)

Re: Charlie Austin in West Ham colours next season ?
He's proved himself this season in the Prem in a struggling side. Scores goals, good movement, good touch, I think he would be a great signing and would offer more goal threat than Valencia.

If QPR's finances unravel after their relegation we could get him for a decent price.
